Linda Griffin is the Head of Brand, Marketing and Corporate Affairs in Australia and New Zealand, which includes Zurich’s Life & Investments business in Australia and Zurich’s General Insurance business in Australia and New Zealand. Linda joined Zurich in June 2019 following the sale of the ANZ Life Insurance business. In her current role, Linda leads the government relations, communications, brand and marketing, and community projects teams.
Linda held a similar role within the ANZ Wealth Australia business while also being the senior executive responsible for customer experience throughout the divestment of ANZ’s Life Insurance and Pensions & Investments businesses. She also held executive directorship positions on the OnePath Life and General Insurance companies, when they were part of the ANZ Group.
Previously, Linda was Chief of Staff to ANZ’s CEO, Global Wealth Division and Group Managing Director Marketing and Innovation. Linda joined ANZ as Head of Dispute Resolution, responsible for managing complex litigation and legal matters. Prior to joining the financial services industry, Linda was Special Counsel at Clayton Utz.
Linda is a qualified lawyer and holds a Master of Laws from the Queensland University of Technology. Linda is also a Fellow of the Australia Institute of Insurance and Finance and Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
