Proud to be Co-Principal Partner of Wests Tigers

Our Partnership with Wests Tigers

Zurich Australia has been proud Premier Partner of the Wests Tigers since 2022. Our sponsorship includes naming rights to the ‘Zurich Centre’ – a state-of-the art training and administrative facility, as well as support of the Wests Tigers women’s team (NRLW). In 2024, we also extended our partnership to include the Tiger’s men’s team.

NRL is one of the most popular sporting codes in Australia, with high participation, game attendance, TV viewing figures, and media coverage. The partnership allows us to connect with our partners, customers and wider Australian community.

Our Zurich logo is proudly displayed on the front sternum of NRLW players’ jerseys and on the sleeve of the NRL’s playing jersey.

We’re committed to championing women’s sport, supporting the community health and wellbeing through the Zurich Centre, and investing in the growth of junior rugby through our Grassroots to Greatness initiative.

Zurich Centre

In 2022, the Zurich Centre at Concord Oval, officially opened.

Part of the new Concord Oval and community sports precinct, the Zurich Centre features a state-of-the art training and administrative facilities, including a pool, gym, wrestling room, and physiotherapy space.

When designing the Zurich Centre, the women’s team was at the forefront of their mind, just as much as the men’s team – ensuring an inclusive environment for all.

The Centre of Excellence is a hub for learning, encouragement, fulfilment, and growth. It's a place of opportunity for both women and men to realise their potential in a nurturing and inclusive environment.

Grassroots to Greatness

Since 2022, Zurich has partnered with Wests Tigers to introduce the 'Grassroots to Greatness' initiative. This initiative not only motivates the elite athletes but also directly benefits grassroots levels by providing much-needed resources.

For every try that the Wests Tigers NRLW team scores during the season, Zurich donates a junior football pack worth over $500 to a community rugby league club across Australia.  To date, Zurich has donated $23,000 football packs, backed local community clubs and fostering participation in grassroots sports.
