Zurich’s LiveWell app now features Telehealth, a free 24/7 health service that connects Zurich life insurance customers to a licensed medical professional in minutes. 

Customers can choose to get a no-cost consultation via text, phone or video call – allowing them to discuss their health issues in the way they’re most comfortable.

Zurich Australia gives customers added choice and convenience when it comes to seeking medical advice, particularly when it can be time-consuming and expensive to visit the GP.

LiveWell Telehealth is a quick and convenient option for people who have medical questions, or just need some reassurance about whether a physical trip to the GP or emergency department is required.

LiveWell Telehealth consultations are confidential and free of charge, with no Medicare details required. The doctors you consult with do not have access to MyGov health records.

Mental Health Review

LiveWell Telehealth offers a Mental Health Review if you are experiencing symptoms of anxiety, depression or other mental illness. The review takes the form of a survey that’s reviewed by a psychiatrist, who sends a report and recommendations.

The service does not currently include a consultation with a psychiatrist, but it can be a good way to assess how you’re feeling and whether medical support may be required. 

How to access LiveWell Telehealth

Eligible Zurich life insurance customers can access Telehealth through the LiveWell by Zurich app.

Step 1

Customer logs in to the Livewell app and taps ‘Teleheath’ in the Explore tab.

Step 2

Customer nominates their communication preference – text, talk or video call and provides a description of their medical issue and can upload one image if they choose.

Step 3

LiveWell Telehealth matches the customer to the best available health professional, typically in under a minute, who will respond via the customer’s preferred communication method.
