Justin was appointed CEO Zurich Australia and New Zealand in July 2021 following his appointment as CEO, Life and Investments, Zurich Australia in December 2019.
With more than 25 years’ experience in financial services, Justin held the position of Chief Operating Officer of TAL Life prior to joining Zurich. Holding this role since 2015, Justin had commercial and operational accountability for TAL’s core business lines.
Previously, Justin held several senior roles within Macquarie Group. Including, as Executive Director, Head of Wealth Management, Products & Platform, with responsibility for the superannuation, platform, life insurance and online broking businesses. In this role Justin was integral to building the Macquarie Life Insurance business and led its go-to market strategy.
Justin leads Zurich at a time of significant growth and opportunity, having acquired Macquarie's life risk business in 2016, and OnePath Life from ANZ in June 2019, which has seen Zurich take a leading position in the Australian retail life insurance market.
Justin holds a Bachelor of Arts (Macquarie University), Graduate Diploma in Management, Graduate Diploma in Financial Planning and is a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
